Nigerian veteran singer, Skales has decided to recount how he was assisted by his colleague in the music industry, Timaya when he had no place to rest his head after leaving Banky W’s EME record label many years ago. He made such remembrance in an interview.
The music star who spoke about such issue during an interview with Chudeity few minutes ago, revealed that his family was very poor to the extent that they were living in a kitchen where his mother sells things from, adding that he was sleeping under the sink.
Speaking about his musical career, Skales revealed that his career went down the drain when he left EME records, adding that people tagged him as a failure and wondered by Banky W signed him into his record label.
According to Skales;
“So like I always say, my life is a movie. So when I left EME, I was homeless, I had nothing, so one day Timaya found out, Timaya actually cried, he didn’t know because we were always chilling. So when he found out, he had a penthouse that he just doesn’t use for anything, he now told me to move in there”
Speaking about his rise to fame again, Skales revealed that his colleague, Olamide called and and gave him money that he used in releasing his music video, “Shake Body”, adding that such video helped him in becoming popular again.
