Peruzzi, a singer-songwriter born Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, has acknowledged that in exchange for writing songs for his record label boss Davido, he used to gather Davido’s old clothes.
He revealed this on the Curiosity Made Me Ask show hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie.
“Is it true that Davido used to pay you with his used clothes for writing his songs?” inquired the host.
“To be honest with you, I used to collect Davido’s used clothes as payment for writing songs for him,” Peruzzi retorted.
However, I quit doing that after doing one in particular and receiving some money from him.
“I really did do that in the past.”
Peruzzi has already acknowledged penning some of Davido’s songs, such as “Assurance,” “Unavailable,” “Flora My Flower,” and numerous others.
