Actress Foluke Daramola-Salako has accepted that she hasn’t been up and doing towards her late friend and colleague, Moji Olaiya’s kids- Adun and Motopeda – as expected, but has promised to make amends.
Rawloaded recalls that Mariam Ashabi Moropeda, the second daughter of late Yoruba actress, Moji Olaiya clocked five years old on March 17, 2022 and her elder sister, Adunfa released her photos on Instagram with the caption “Happy 5th birthday to my princess… I love you so much my baby and I’m so proud of you. I pray That God will continue to make you a source of joy for me. Big 5 is finally here we won’t hear word today… I hope you have fun today Doctor Ashley. Love you””
Many of the female Nollywood celebrities who were close friends of Moji Olaiya before she died, interestingly ignored the post.
It has further been found that her other colleagues in Nollywood, who wore aso ebi with her to the many parties and premieres they all attended together when she was alive, have abandoned her kids to cater for themselves.
To even congratulate Adun when she graduated from Babcock sometime ago, was a chore to some of your colleagues.
Well, Motopeda is five and Adu is doing a fantastic job with grandma to care of the beautiful little gal.
Feeling guilty, Foluke Daramola responded to Adun’s post with a public apology to the late Moji Olaiya, she further vowed to start paying attention to the girls.
“Wow wow wow, Moji Olaiya’s daughter is already 5, Moropeda is a big girl now o….well done @adunfarombi ku itoju Aburo e, am guilty I haven’t been keeping up as expected. Oluwa a wo Eyin mejeji. Love u 2 to bits. Nkan ti moji o shey laye e ma shey ju bee lo loruko Jesu Amin ” Foluke wrote.
The late Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya gave birth to Mariam in Canada before she passed away a few months after on May 17, 2017.
In 2016, Olaiya released a film, Iya Okomi, starring Foluke Daramola and Funsho Adeolu, which was scheduled to premiere in Lagos on July.
Olaiya married Bayo Okesola in 2007, then separated. She converted to Islam in 2014.
Olaiya died on May 17, 2017, from cardiac arrest in Canada, where she had her second child exactly two months prior. She was finally laid to rest on June 7, 2017 according to Islamic rites.
