30 days have elapsed since the shocking departure of the renowned music sensation Mohbad, and during this time, a series of significant developments and events have transpired.
Mohbad, 27, died on 12 September from mysterious circumstances.
The singer’s shocking and untimely death has gripped the nation as his fans, colleagues, and the entertainment industry seek answers.
Over the week, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, revealed the progress with police investigations and shed some light on the findings .
Recall that Mohbad’s nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, was arrested in connection with the death of the singer, and the police suspect it was the injection given to Mohbad by the nurse that led to his death.
In the latest development, the mother of Feyisayo Ogedengbe has come out to cry to Nigerians for help. She stated that her daughter was innocent and that she is a trained auxiliary nurse who has been treating Mohbad’s friend, who actually invited the nurse in the first place.
In her words,”Feyisayo is a trained auxiliary nurse who has been treating Spending(Mohbad’s friend) for some time. When Mohbad needed a nurse, Spending called Feyi that his friend needed treatment for a cut he had in his hand and my daughter went there.
She met Mohbad’s wife, his younger bro, his PA and his friend. Feyi said what she gave to Mohbad couldn’t have killed him…Paracetamol antibiotics and anti-tetanus. The police never declared her wanted. I took her to the station myself and they detained her. It’s over 23 days now and they said they will not release her until the autopsy result is out. They said the autopsy was done abroad and it would take a while. Nigerians Please help me. I am a single mother. They want to implicate my daughter. There is a foul play somewhere over Mohbad’s death”
