The popular Nollywoood actor, Alexx Ekubo, has showered accolades on his senior colleague In the movie industry, Funke Akindele, popularly known as ‘Jenifa’ on international women’s day.

The director, producer and activist, Funke Akindele, had openly declared her intention to run for the position of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State in July 2022 under a popular political party in Nigeria. Few of her colleagues have declared their support for the actress and her running mate. Alex Ekubo included.
The superstar wrote a dynamic long Epistle about the middle aged lady, Funke, and her passion for success. He also took readers down her success line and achievements over the years and why he believes she is a better candidate and woman for the job.
Furthermore, he congratulated Funke ahead of the gubernatorial elections which is to hold in majority of the states in the country on the 11th of March, 2023, Lagos included.
