In his latest and contentious book, My Watch, former President Olusegun Obasanjo revealed the names of his twenty-one children, but he omitted mentioning their mothers. However, ENCOMIUM Weekly has listed their names and contact information below:
His first wife, MRS. OLUREMI OBASANJO, was born on Saturday, June 22, 1963, at South East London’s Camberwell Green Registry. She was only twenty-one. Of the 21 children the former president has, Mrs. Oluremi Obasanjo is the mother of six.
They are the last of the woman’s children to be born in 1982, Damilola Obasanjo, Busola Obasanjo, Olusegun Obasanjo, the first son, Olugbenga Obasanjo, Enitan Obasanjo, and Senator Iyabo Obasanjo.
Following a botched stomach tuck procedure, MRS. STELLA OBASANJO, the late former First Lady, passed away in Spain on Sunday, October 23, 2005. She gave birth to Olumuyiwa Obasanjo, the former president’s only child, in 1977.
Former Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) director GOLD ORUH first encountered the former president while covering the civil conflict in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, as a reporter. For him, she bore him two children.
Funke and Seun Obasanjo are her kids.
Mr. Kenny Martins, the politician and former chairman of the Police Equipment Fund, has a twin sister named MRS. Taiwo Obasanjo.
She is also the mother of the former president’s two children. Esther Olubunmi Obasanjo, who wed in August 2010, is one of her children. From then on, Mrs. Taiwo Obasanjo has gone back to using her maiden name, Martins.
The former president cut ties with her after her covert liaison with the late Godwin Daboh came to light.
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo had children with another woman, the late MRS. LYNDA OBASANJO, nee Soares. It was reported that she had given birth to two children for him prior to her being murdered by armed robbers on February 14, 1987, during the day. Her age was 45. Of the 21 children, we genuinely don’t know the names of her two offspring. Later, Obasanjo named her relative Priscilla Soares MD, Nicon.
Another woman who bears the former army general’s children is MRS. MABEL OKOSODE OBASANJO. However, we are unaware of the number of children she bears him as well as their names.
Another woman who has a child or children for the elderly guy is MRS. TITILAYO OBASANJO.
The name of COL. ADEBOYE OBASANJO‘s mother is unknown.
However, as stated by Mrs. Oluremi Obasanjo in her book Bitter Sweet My Life with Obasanjo, she is a divorcee and mother of two who was brought before the former general by one of his aunts who resides in Arigbajo, Ogun State, after she (Remi) was driven from their marital residence in Ikoyi, Lagos, for questioning his (Obasanjo’s) adultery.
The British singer of Nigerian heritage, Tunde Baiyewu, and KOFOWOROLA MOJISOLA OBASANJO are of the same mother. In 2002, OBASANJO married British Baptist clergyman Peter Kenneth Blackshire. After losing her husband, Tunde Baiyewu’s mother moved to Nigeria with her two kids. When she first met Obasanjo, he was still an army officer. Kofo Obasanjo was the product of their liaison.
The woman who currently resides with Chief Obasanjo is MRS. BOLA OBASANJO. She also bears him a child, Funsho Obasanjo. The woman had to move to Nigeria to become his resident wife; she had previously been located in London.
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was married to other ladies, but they did not bear him children.
HIS OTHER WOMEN
MRS. MOWO SOFOWORA, a married lace fabric entrepreneur, began seeing him in 1973, when Obasanjo was a Lieutenant Colonel in the armed forces.
One of the women whom Mrs. Oluremi Obasanjo mentioned as causing issues in her marriage was Mrs. Mowo Sofowora. It was reported that she was older than Obasanjo.
MRS. LABO SALAKO, the late Captain Salako’s wife, passed away in a car accident near Argungu in 1972. Obasanjo’s mate in London was the late Captain Salako. On Obasanjo’s recommendation, she moved in with the Obasanjos in their Ikoyi (Lagos) home following her husband’s death, and Remi, the wife, consented with her husband. However, Labo was enjoying a fun affair with her husband before the wife realized what was happening.
She advised Obasanjo to divorce Remi in a letter, which only made the situation worse. After obtaining the letter, Remi photocopied it multiple times and distributed copies to friends and family.
This was the cause of Remi’s months-long absence from her married home. Bitter-Sweet, written by Mrs. Oluremi Obasanjo, contains the story.
MRS. LAMIDE ADEGBENRO is the spouse of Chief Niyi Adegbenro, who was formerly Chief Obasanjo’s kinsman and Ogun State’s Commissioner for Agriculture.
Mrs. Oluremi Obasanjo listed Lamide Adegbenro, who is currently in her 60s, as one of her husband’s several mistresses in her book.
During his confrontation with Obasanjo, former vice president Abubakar Atiku also brought up the woman, claiming that in 2003, Olunba Fasawe gave her a brand-new Peugeot 607 as a gift, along with $110,000 deposited into her NATWEST Bank, UK account.
It was also claimed that MRS. ALO, a former vice principal of Queens College in Yaba, Lagos, was Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s mistress.
When Iyabo Obasanjo was a student at Queens College, Mrs. Alo served as the vice principal. Thus, if it weren’t for her mother’s intervention, Iyabo would have attacked her the day she saw her in her father’s swimming pool at Ota Farm, Ogun State, while she was wearing a swimming trunk.
We learned that Mrs. Alo is still close to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo since she serves on the board of directors of The Bells, Obasanjo’s educational institution.
PRINCESS, It was also reported that a princess from Lagos, who adores white clothing, had a romantic relationship with the former president just after the passing of the late First Lady, Mrs. Stella Obasanjo.
Apparently, she assumed complete control over the president’s personal life when the First Lady passed away. She even presented herself as the former president’s spouse to one of the kids, to which Funke publicly informed her that she was not wanted in the family.
The children got together to pressure their father to wed someone else in an attempt to counteract the princess’s influence in his life.
Mama Funsho, Mrs. Bola Obasanjo’s official wife, moved from London to Nigeria as a result of this pressure.
