On Thursday, the Nigerian police force declared that an inquiry had started into a widely shared video that showed a young guy being led by a policeman.
The police escort’s opening of the automobile door for the “big” boy was caught on camera.
Together with his pals, he was observed sprinkling wads of Naira notes as he arrived at the celebration.
Police spokesperson Olumuyiwa Adejobi responded by calling the incident unpleasant and filthy and vowed to find the offending officer.

He penned:
“This case study was presented at today’s IGPs conference in Abuja. This has been denounced, and a case investigation has been started. Senior officers are required to screen individuals who will have police escorts and guards and to take action against such in their Areas of Responsibility.
“Not even the man he was escorting merits a police escort.” It’s repulsive and embarrassing for the force. Maybe the policeman was performing an unauthorized duty. He will be exposed, as will many others.,
