Nigeria defeated South Africa 1-0 on aggregate to qualify for the Summer Olympics.
The Super Falcons secured one of Africa’s berths for the women’s football event at the Paris Olympics with today’s goalless draw in South Africa, thanks to a penalty kick by Rasheedat Ajibade in the first leg of the qualifiers in Abuja last Friday. After a 16-year absence, Nigeria will make their Olympic debut with the Super Falcons.
