The Nigerian journalist and Influencer, Joey Akan, has taken to social media to narrate how Davido had come through for him during his early career as a podcaster.

On the 22nd of March 2023, the young man Narrated how it all started. He had been seeking for celebrities interview to build up his platform and had chosen Davido to grant one. Although, he (Davido) had been at the peak of campaigning for his new album at the time in the United States of America and had shuffled lots of media platforms, to Akan’s surprise, Davido stated that:
” I don do American interviews. Na my Nigerian brother own. Make we do am”.
Joey stated his amusement on how the singer could still stay for as long as about an hour on the phone with him amidst stress and this little kind gesture had helped his platform boom as the interview did numbers.
“For that act alone, inconveniencing himself for me, I rate him as a person” Akan had concluded.
