Fabrizio Romano, a well-known Italian writer and transfer analyst, claims that Brentford chose to exercise the option and sign the 18-year-old from Simoiben Academy in Kaduna, who is a forward for Super Eagles named Moses Simon.
According to Romano, the agreement is good until 2028.
Frederick attended the Simoiben Football Academy and graduated. He joined ABS FC prior to the 2021–22 season, making his debut in February 2022 and taking home the man of the match award.
Frederick signed a loan agreement with Brentford in August 2023, with the possibility of extending the agreement.
He made his debut as a member of the Brentford first team matchday squad in January 2024 when he was brought on as a substitute for an FA Cup match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
In January 2023, he played every minute for the Flying Eagles, who placed third in the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, hosted in Egypt.
Federick was included in the Flying Eagles roster for the Argentina 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in May of 2023.
