Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, recently shared that he was once approached to be a sperm donor. He declined the offer because the person making the request was close to him, and he couldn’t imagine not acknowledging fatherhood if a child resulted.
During his appearance on the latest episode of the ‘I Said What I Said’ Podcast, the ‘Soft Work’ singer recounted the incident, stating, “Someone once asked me to be a sperm donor. She said, ‘Just donate sperm, you don’t need to worry about parenting.’ I replied, ‘You must be joking.'”
Falz explained his refusal, saying, “I declined. It seemed too surreal. I couldn’t fathom the idea of not acknowledging parenthood when I know the person making the request.”
