Former Arsenal striker, Ian Wright has backed the call for Anthony Martial to leave Manchester United this summer.
Martial is expected to leave Manchester United at the end of the season, having failed to successfully do so last summer.
The Frenchman has not helped the club enough since joining from Monaco, scoring only four goals for Erik Ten Hag’s side this season.
The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan to La Liga side, Sevilla but Ten Hag decided to keep him at Old Trafford.
He has dropped down the pecking order following the loan arrival of Wout Wegborst and Wright feels that the situation is not a good one for the Frenchman.
“With all due respect to Martial, if you’ve got Wout Weghorst starting in front of you, you’ve got a problem,” he said on Premier League Production.
