Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martinez of Manchester United have resumed their workout regimen.
This is fantastic news for manager Erik ten Hag, who faced Crystal Palace on Monday with a patched-up lineup and lost 4-0.
Martinez and Rashford returning for United’s last games will be crucial as they battle to qualify for Europe.
“Manchester United has welcomed Lisandro Martinez and Marcus Rashford back into first-team training at Carrington,” the club said in a statement.
“After stints on the sidelines, the homegrown forward and Argentina international are training with the first team in our exclusive photos from the club’s camp.
Due to injuries, Martinez has only made 11 appearances this season and hasn’t featured since the 1-1 draw at Brentford in March.
“Rashford is getting close to playing again and making his historic 400th senior appearance for his boyhood club at Wembley after getting hurt in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City.”
