Before their Premier League final day matchup against West Ham, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has cautioned his players against becoming complacent.
Arsenal will not falter in their own match against Everton, in Guardiola’s opinion.
As the last round of games approaches, City leads the Gunners by two points.
“I told the players that the results of the last two or three games—Aston Villa at Emirates and Crystal Palace at Liverpool—would not repeat.
“At that point, we control the course of events. However, you are mistaken if you are holding out for them to lose points once more.
“Forget about it if you believe Arsenal will lose at Old Trafford. Forget it if you’re expecting Everton to achieve something [on Sunday].
“This will not take place. We’ve played Wolves, Fulham, Spurs, and now this final one at Crystal Palace, where we did what needed to be done. They therefore understand that winning is essential if Arsenal is to win the title.
