Former Manchester United and Arsenal attacker Danny Welbeck has named Santi Cazorla as the best player he has ever played with in his career.
Welbeck also named former Chelsea ace Eden Hazard as the best opponent he played against.
The Englishman played with many top players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, during his time at Manchester United and Arsenal, respectively.
Speaking with Goal, Welbeck, who currently plays for Premier League club Brighton, when quizzed about the best player he played with, said: “That is a very difficult one because I played with a numerous number of players. Someone who was really, really gifted was Santi Cazorla. He was incredible.
“Left and right foot, football intelligence, receiving the ball, playing passes through, and breaking the lines He was the one I was like, ‘Wow’.”
Also, when quizzed about the best opponent, Welbeck said: “The best player I played against, I would have to go with Eden Hazard. When he was at Chelsea, he was unbelievable.”
