Taiwo Awoniyi says Nottingham Forest executed their game plan perfectly in the 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Nigeria international bagged a brace to give Steve Cooper’s side a valuable point as they continue their fight against relegation.
The Tricky Trees are now three points clear of the relegation zone with two games to play.
Awoniyi revealed how the Forest team went to West London with a plan and executed it perfectly.
“It was a good game,” Awoniyi told Premier League Productions.
“Obviously we know how good they are as a team and we came here with the spirit and togetherness, and we had a plan and it worked. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the three points.”
The 25-year-old has scored eight goals and provided one assist in 25 league appearances for Nottingham Forest this season.
