“We had a great start to the game and were in control. We scored the goal, and in my opinion, that set off a chain reaction of very cautious, lateral, and backward play with insufficient structure.
“We started giving the ball away in advantageous spots, which puts us at risk against them. But we played solid defense and didn’t give up a lot of points,” Arteta said to BBC Sport.
