The well-known Nollywood actor Eniola Badmus was recently given a political role. She has been selected as the Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives’ adviser to Tajudeen Abbas.
In particular, Tajudeen Abbas has appointed Eniola Badmus as the Special Assistant for Social Events and Public Hearings.
The announcement of her appointment gained traction quickly on the internet, as videos of her swearing-in ceremony and the moment she got her appointment letter went viral on Friday, May 10, 2024.
Notably, Eniola Badmus was among the Nollywood celebrities who spoke up the loudest in favor of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambitions.
Regretfully, because of her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, she was subjected to ongoing harassment and threats from internet users.
