Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao has opened up about how she almost hurt herself after reading false information about her online.
In an interview with The Tribune Newspaper, the actress disclosed that she came dangerously close to self-poisoning due to the publication of false information about her.
She claimed to have starved herself for seven days, which alarmed her neighbors, especially her sister and son. She did not, however, bring up the false information that had been spread about her.
According to her;
Because of something that was posted online about me, I came dangerously close to poisoning myself. The information that was spread about me was untrue. People who were close to me may attest to the fact that I went without food for approximately seven days. I was unable to move. This coincided with the period in which I was developing my film. Everyone was phoning me—my kid, my sister—because I felt awful and the story seemed to come out of nowhere.
