Distinguished Nigerian Filmmaker and versatile Actor, Femi Adebayo, delightedly shared moment he and the acclaimed cast of his latest and much-discussed film, “Jagun,” were graciously presented with their first awards in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the film’s success.
In a video posted by Femi Adebayo, Fathia Balogun (known for her role as Erinfuto) lavished praise on Femi Adebayo, for propelling her further than she thought possible, enabling her to exceed her own limitations, and deliver an exceptional performance in the movie.
Fathia went on to express that among the countless films she has collaborated on with Femi Adebayo, “Jagun Jagun” stands out as her top choice. Her heartfelt words moved Femi Adebayo to tears, prompting him to dab his eyes with a handkerchief.
Bimbo Ademoye, in the video, recalled an occasion when an Asian man identified her as Morohunmbo from “Jagun Jagun” while she was out on the road. She highlighted the influx of numerous direct messages (DMs) flooding her inbox.
The Actress explained that while she did not play the lead female role (embodied by Bukunmi Oluwashina), the profound manner in which she and her fellow cast members embodied their characters resulted in fans bestowing equal measures of praise upon the entire crew.
Conversely, Itele (common with the character of Gbogunmi) conveyed his appreciation to Femi Adebayo for placing trust in him. The pair, along with Fathia Williams and Bimbo Ademoye, captured moments together in snapshots after receiving their awards.

In the accompanying caption, Femi Adebayo revealed that the initiator responsible for him and his cast receiving the awards for their outstanding contributions in “Jagun Jagun” was none other than Comedian Arole.
He wrote;
“l got a call from @officialarole regarding a dinner in honour of #JagunJagunMovie which was organized by @nola_adetola @veritasihomes
Having a tight schedule; I was ready to decline but he said, “Sir, the place of honour, respect with appreciation is KEY while ALIVE”
He got me there… And now, FIRST AWARD officially received for our efforts on #JagunJagunMovie I must admit, I got teary listening to @faithiawilliams and @bimboademoye SThank you @iteledicon01 for making time.”
