Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has confirmed that renowned actor Zack Orji has undergone two successful brain surgeries and is presently in good health.
In an interview with Afia TV on Wednesday, Rollas disclosed that Zack will need to travel abroad for a follow-up examination post-surgeries. Rollas expressed his dismay towards those who spread false rumors regarding Zack’s passing.
According to the leader of AGN (Actor’s Guild of Nigeria), individuals who spread rumors only do so to boost their online presence, often at the expense of those affected by the falsehoods.
He stated, “With the prevalence of the internet, there’s a tendency for people to prioritize growing their online presence, even if it means spreading baseless rumors. Just yesterday, someone falsely claimed that Zack had passed away, prompting me to swiftly respond to dispel the rumor.”
“Zack rarely seeks attention, so if it weren’t for privacy concerns, I would easily connect you with him over the phone. He’s currently in need of a post-surgery evaluation abroad, and we’re gradually raising funds to facilitate his trip for that purpose.”
“Despite undergoing two brain surgeries, Zack is in good health and able to communicate. It’s utterly inhumane for someone to spread the false rumor that Zack has passed away.”
