Remember how Dbanj and Don Jazzy ran the Mo’hits record label together as successful business partners and close friends? Both parties parted ways after years of collaboration for reasons that are only known to them.
When Don Jazzy gave Dbanj a unique greeting for his birthday in 2021, it shocked a lot of people.
The two reestablished their friendship in November of that year, following a Nigerian civil war that was started by an overly enthusiastic fan. Dbanj republished a commentary on himself and Don Jazzy on his Instagram account. The fan had chastised Don Jazzy for turning down Kanye West’s golden opportunity and sticking like a huge fish in a river instead of a whale in an ocean.
However, this declaration had led to misunderstanding as Dbanj and Don Jazzy’s followers turned to social media to declare war on one other.
In response, Don Jazzy posted a video on social media begging his followers to refrain from starting new conflicts. Dbanj also posted the video, pleading with his followers to stop dragging his friend.
