The first child of music icon Wizkid, Boluwatife Balogun, has commented on his father’s feud with rival and colleague Davido.
The fact that Davido and Wizkid are at odds and that Davido made fun of Wizkid for having the same shoe size as his first son on social media is no longer news.
A fan had cited Davido in the young man’s comment area, questioning the veracity of his assertion. “Davido says that you and your papa have the same shoe size,” he wrote. Na verdad?”
In response, Boluwatife said that, at least, his father is not like Davido in that he doesn’t ask for sex.
“However, he doesn’t beg for ***.”
Social media was split on Monday after Wizkid tweeted an awkward video of Davido pleading with a woman for what appeared to be sex. While interacting with his followers who were pleading with him to release music, he posted the video online and encouraged them to do the same as Davido.
Davido responded to Wizkid by accusing him of being a woman beater and calling him out for being a sick man. Additionally, he begged Wizkid to reply to him, and when he did, Davido brutally dragged him while utilizing the same awkward video.
Numerous celebrities voiced their opinions, with many criticizing Wizkid for initiating the feud.
Cynthia Morgan said she believed Davido would find humor in Wizkid’s post. She observed that when someone doesn’t behave appropriately, things might get out of control. She doesn’t hold Davido responsible for answering him, though.
Talent manager Paulo Okoye had called their behavior disgraceful and conveyed his dismay in them while pleading with them to cease.
A caution to anybody weighing in on the ongoing conflict was issued by celebrity designer and fashion stylist Toyin Lawani of Tiannah Empire: they would appear foolish.
In the meantime, music producer Samklef had set up shop, stating that artists like Davido would not have a platform in the absence of Wizkid. He claimed that Wizkid was the cause of today’s youth music scene.
Alongside Wizkid, Big Brother Naija winner Phyna had also set up a tent, announcing her love for him and brazenly referring to him as her “Popsy.”
