Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made some significant changes to the starting lineup for the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea. Four players have been replaced from the team that lost on penalties to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.
One of the most significant changes is the absence of Erling Haaland from the squad, with Julian Alvarez taking his place. Stefan Ortega comes in for Ederson as the goalkeeper, while Nathan Ake and John Stones replace Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol in defence.
The rest of the team consists of Walker, Akanji, Rodri, Foden, De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Grealish, and Alvarez. The substitutes for Manchester City are Ederson, Dias, Kovacic, Doku, Gomez, Gvardiol, Nunes, Bobb, and Lewis.
Thanks for sharing the team lineup for the Chelsea game. It’s interesting to see that Enzo Fernandez has made a return to the midfield, replacing Mykhailo Mudryk in the starting lineup.
The rest of the team consists of Petrovic, Gusto, Chalobah, Silva, Cucurella, Caicedo, Gallagher, Madueke, Palmer, and Jackson.
Chelsea’s substitutes for the game are Bettinelli, Badiashile, Disasi, Gilchrist, Chilwell, Chukwuemeka, Mudryk, Sterling, and Washington. I’m excited to see how both teams perform in this game.
