In honor of his father, Famous crossdresser, Idris Okuneye better known as Bobrisky has canceled his birthday plans.
The socialite who is set to turn 32 on August 31st, revealed via his Instagram page, that he has canceled his birthday plans.
He has chosen to hold a lavish funeral for his father in the next 41 days.
Bobrisky revealed that he has cried his eyes out over the devastating news as despite his age, losing his father is inconsolable.
“Have canceled my birthday party. Instead, I will be doing my dad’s final burial in 41 days. He died at age 78 days.
Have cried and cried I’m now tired. No matter how our parents are old you will never want them to go”.
Bobrisky grieves as he loses father
Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday that Bobrisky and his family had lost their beloved father, Kunle Okuneye.
The famous crossdresser made the sad news known via his Snapchat account, where he revealed that he lost his father, in the early hours of Monday, August 14th.
His brother, Debola Okuneye, while speaking to Punch, disclose more about his death and funeral, and a close friend and colleague of the deceased, known as ‘Lastbborn’, also shed more light on his death and funeral.
He was buried at 4 pm, at his hometown in Ijebu-Igbo in Ogun State according to Islamic rites.
Bobrisky ridiculed as friends, colleagues shun his 31st birthday party
Last year, Bobrisky was subjected to mockery over his birthday party disaster.
The crossdresser in celebration of his 31st birthday treated his friends, colleagues, and family to a beach party.
Unfortunately, the party was a flop, as guests didn’t turn up for him, most especially his celebrity friends.
Despite wishing him a happy birthday on his Instagram page, Mercy Eke, Toke Makinwa, Sotayogaga, Eniola Badmus, Khloe Abiri, Chigurl, Nini, and Iyanya stayed clear from his birthday party
