On Saturday, Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola turned one year older, and some of his coworkers threw him a party to celebrate.

Adekola was born in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State in southwest Nigeria, on December 31, 1978. Nonetheless, he is an indigenous of Ekiti State’s Otun Ekiti.
After completing the West African School Certificate Examination at St. John’s Primary School and St. Peter’s College in Abeokuta, he went on to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, where he was awarded a diploma.
Odunlade Adekola began performing in public at a very young age. He claimed that he and a friend called Tunde would constantly ask to play jesters whenever an anniversary was to be held at his church, the Christ Apostolic Church, Lafenwa, Abeokuta, and that request was always granted. After that, he would create a “script” for a comedic play with simply his friend and himself as the main players. That’s how everything worked.
