Renowned Nigerian musician Terry G ranks Burna Boy ahead of Wizkid and Davido in order to highlight the main competition in the music business.
The singer discussed his opinion that drawing comparisons between Davido and Wizkid is petty and blinkered on a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast. He emphasized the obvious differences between the two musicians.
Given the strong African cultural influence of Davido’s songs, the “Run Mad” crooner—who recently admitted to singing for the devil—hailed Davido as the King of Africa.
Regarding Wizkid, his music presents a different viewpoint and doesn’t always fit with African themes.
Regarding Burna Boy’s classification, he confirmed that the musician incorporates elements of both global and African music styles.
He went on to say that Burna Boy is their King and better than both Davido and Wizkid.
