In celebration of turning 34, Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwasina has delightfully shared reflections about her unusual birth story on social media.
The actress related a heartwarming story about how her parents were taken aback when she was born.
The actress revealed that her parents had been expecting a boy and had been eagerly awaiting his birth in a thoughtful Instagram post.
Bukunmi claims that her mother was on her way to the hospital the night before she gave birth, carrying clothes and infant necessities that had been purchased especially for a son.
Her father was looking forward to the arrival of his first son and was busy organizing the customary naming ceremony.
But when Bukunmi entered the world as a girl, her parents were left in complete surprise, and their expectations were comically dashed.
According to her:
Thus, according to history, my mother was already in labor on this particular day many years ago at this same moment. As reported, she was en route to the hospital, carrying a bag full of baby supplies and clothes she had purchased for her soon-to-be son.
My father had already started organizing the arrangements for the cow he would butcher and name. The man was eager to meet his first child.
Gents and ladies, From the beginning, I have been a joke.

Bukunmi thanked God in a different post for giving her another year to live.
