Shehu Sani, a former congressman, made fun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the camp of former President Muhammadu Buhari in response to Abdullahi Adamu’s departure as the party’s national chairman.
According to RAWLOADED, Adamu, the former chairman of the APC, submitted his letter of resignation on Sunday evening.
Senator Abubakar Kyari, the APC’s Deputy National Chairman (North), assumed leadership of the party’s operations in the wake of the events.
Adamu is reportedly a fervent admirer of the outgoing president.
Before the presidential primary and even after President Bola Tinubu emerged as the party’s nominee, it was said that Adamu actively opposed his rise to power.
After Adamu’s resignation was confirmed on Monday, Sani made a subtle jab at Buhari’s APC supporters in a post on his verified Twitter account.
He remarked, “The Buharists are purged in their party; they are now orphans.”
