Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo in Lagos State, has departed from this life. Olasoju Adebayo, the Chairman of the Isolo Local Council Development Area, affirmed this in a formal declaration.
According to the announcement, the monarch will be buried on Wednesday at 4:00 pm in accordance with Islamic tradition.
“I have been directed by Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to formally announce the demise of Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, on April 10, 2024,” the notification states. He was sixty-four.
“He will be buried, in accordance with Islamic burial customs, in his palace, which is situated at 3/5 Akinbaye Street, Isolo, at 4:00 pm today. May his soul rest in peace forever.”
