Not winning at the AMVCA disappointed Nigerian comedian and actress Bovi Ugboma. He was runner-up to Volume’s Mona Ombogo in the Best Writing TV Series category for Visa On Arrival.
Despite getting seven nominations, including four individual ones, the comedian revealed on Instagram that he has not yet won.
With a congrats, Bovi acknowledged the winners’ well-earned triumphs.
By the time the AMVCA celebrates its 20th anniversary, he still has hope and plans to win ten prizes.
