Wumi Toriola, a fellow actress from Nigeria, has come under fire from Nigerian actress Bakare Zainab for constantly treating her and other people disrespectfully on film sets.
Bakare Zainab, who appeared to be frustrated, questioned Wumi’s actions and her right to approach her in this way on Instagram Live.
Bakare Zainab made the observation that Wumi has been bothering her for more than four years, but she has chosen to ignore her impolite behavior.
The Yoruba actress claimed that although she had intended to unveil the teaser for her film “Sister Esther,” Wumi allegedly demanded that they let her know that she would be given credit as an influence.
Bakare Zainab stressed the value of setting an example for others to follow without looking for anything in return. She mentioned Shola Shobowale, Funke Akindele, Lola Idije, Mide Martins, and Mercy Aigbe as examples of notable people in this area.
Moreover, Bakare Zainab brought attention to Wumi’s persistent disrespect for all individuals on film sets, irrespective of their age.
“I find it astounding how daring they are. What gives you the authority to act in this way? I’ve decided to ignore a lot of things during the past four years. I sometimes just ask folks to hold their favorite accountable in a post I make on WhatsApp.
Someone is demanding to be acknowledged as an inspiration tonight as I get ready to upload my video. What’s the matter with you? Be a responsible adult. Does it have to be about you all the time? Why are you unable to just shut up and go on?”
