Social media personality and housemate of the ongoing BBNaija show, Angel Smith made a striking revelation today, 25th of July, during a conversation with some housemates. They were having a discussion about using injectable birth control. Housemates present during the discussion were Uriel, Angel, Princess and others.
For many who don’t know, Injectable birth control is a hormonal method of contraception. It involves a shot given by a healthcare provider every 3 months. The shot contains the hormone progestin which prevents the ovaries from releasing eggs and thickens the cervical mucus to help block spërm.
While the housemates where conversing about Injectable birth control, Angel revealed to the housemates that she used to take Injectable birth control but later stopped because of its effects. She later went ahead to say that men ought to be the persons taking it.
Angel: “I stopped using injectable birth control because the effects are cräzy. Men should be the ones taking it. You’ll just wake up and be angry and depressed for no reason”.
