Finidi George, the Super Eagles’ head coach, has chosen his assistants.
Daniel Amokachi, a former teammate, and two international coaches have been selected by Finidi.
Olatunji Baruwa, the goalkeeper’s trainer, was also kept on by him.
Under former head coach Jose Peseiro, Baruwa held the same position.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) revealed the 53-year-old on Monday.
Prior to South Africa’s Bafana Bafana and Benin’s Squirrels’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches, the identities of the two foreign assistants will be made public.
In order to focus on his new role, the former Ajax player formally resigned from his position as head coach of Enyimba on Sunday.
For the three years, Finidi oversaw the winners of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Last season, he led the two-time African winners to their tenth NPFL championship.
