A few hours ago, a well known Nigerian human right activist and social media personality, Aisha Yesufu while sharing via her official Twitter page has reacted after a Northern man criticized the Southerners for attacking a girl who got married at the age of 11.
Recently, it was reported that a Kano State man, simply identified as Alhaji, had welcomed his new bride, who is alleged to be 11 years of age.
While defending his actions in a viral video online posted a few days ago, the elderly man said their marriage was born out of love and mutual consent.
However, this marriage has attracted a lot of attention as many Nigerians took to the social media platform to tackle the young girl who got married to an elderly man.
Based in these notes, a Northern man while sharing via his official Twitter page has come out to tackle the Southerners, claiming that the young was not 11 years as many people claimed, adding that she is 21 years.

This particular statement has attracted the attention of Aisha Yesufu as she took to her official Twitter page to react.
According to Aisha Yesufu, she noted that if the Northern man have information that the young girl is 21 years and not 15 years, he should just say it and move on instead of involving others, adding that an 11 years old girl has no business getting married.
