The Delta State government damaged actress Evan Okoro’s house and properties, and she recently took to social media to voice her anguish.
She made a direct plea to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Instagram, asking him to intervene and provide assistance.
Okoro begged Governor Oborevwori to act quickly to stop the destruction, describing herself as a diligent woman in Asaba, Delta State, trying to make ends meet.
She addressed the governor with tender words in her sincere request. Along with expressing her shock and grief, Okoro also questioned the justice of her circumstances and bemoaned the loss of her plantation, home, and fish farm.
As she wrote:
“My governor, please take action for @sheriffoborevwori. I’m just a hardworking, striving woman in your state of Asaba Delta trying to make ends meet. Oh, please, sir, do something for our charming and attractive governor. My entire universe is collapsing.
She wrote in another post;
Why me, Lord? I put a lot of effort into earning this money. My plantation, my house, and my fish farm are all gone.
Please, my governor.
“As far as I am aware, the government owns all lands. even the village home of my father… Our very own Governor, Sir @sheriffoborevwori, kindly take action.
