Nollywood actress Chizzy Alichi has sparked intrigue with her recent revelation.
In a video shared on her Instagram story, the Nollywood starlet disclosed her habit of always applying makeup before cooking. Explaining her rationale, she expressed her belief that her food tastes better when she feels beautiful.
Acknowledging the peculiarity of her practice, Chizzy admitted she couldn’t pinpoint its origin but affirmed its consistent success for her. Accompanied by a video of herself in makeup, about to embark on meal preparation, she emphasized employing this unusual routine, particularly when preparing special dishes.
“Before I start cooking, I always make sure to do my makeup. I have this belief that when I look beautiful, my food turns out better. It’s a strange notion, I know, but I truly feel that when I’m feeling good about myself, it reflects in the taste of the food. I can’t quite pinpoint where I picked up this idea, but it’s been a part of my routine, especially when I’m preparing something special. Right now, I’m getting ready to whip up something delicious for my husband.”
