Kano Pillars of the Nigeria Premier Football League have suspended head coach Abdullahi Maikaba.
The club’s management declared on Tuesday that the renowned strategist will be suspended.
The club’s hierarchy was criticized by the former Akwa United coach last week for their lack of professionalism.
At the beginning of the 2023–24 NPFL season, Maikaba joined Kano Pillars.
In their most recent NPFL games, Kano Pillars have had difficulty.
The former NPFL champions, with 44 points, are ranked ninth on the table.
