Mr. John Otobo, the manager of the Union Bank branch in Igueben, Edo State, was sadly assassinated by kidnappers, who allegedly demanded a ransom of N8 million.
As at the time of this report, several specifics surrounding the occurrence are still unknown. Nevertheless, rumors have it that his body was found in the bush after the ransom was paid.
Otobo was reportedly kidnapped a few days prior while traveling from Ugbegun to Uromi for his job.
