The yoruba movie industry has produced a lot of married couples. Some are seperated or divorced but there are those who are still together and keeping their profession going.
Some fans do not know that some of their favorite stars were marrried to each other.

- Rafiu Balogun and Fausat Balogun
Rafiu and Fausat Balogun met in the industry before they got married. Fausat who is popurlarly known as “Madam Saje” is one of the popular faces in Yoruba movies.
Rafiu who is an actor, scriptwriter and movie producer was Fausat’s boss before they got married. They have two children together. Their eldest son is a director and the youngest daughter is an actress.
2. Sunday and Toyin Adewale
Toyin and Sunday Adewale are the parents of popular Nigerian singer, Mayorkun. Toyin started her acting career in 1988 when she was still a student. She met her husband Sunday, the same year. The couple met at Rimax Institute, Ojokoro, Lagos where they both studied Dramatic Arts. Sunday Adewale is an actor, script writer and movie director.
The couple got married in 1993 and they are still together. They renewed their vow in 2013 on their 20th wedding anniversary.
3. Adeola and Kudirat Shoremi
They are known for their comedy roles in the Yoruba movies. Adeola is popurlarly known as “Princess Lanko” and “Omoba Dubai” while Kudirat is known as “No network”. Both of them are known for their hilarious roles in movies especially when paired together.
4. Afeez Eniola and Esther Kalejaye Eniola
Afeez Eniola is a popular movie producer, actor and scriptwriter in the Yoruba Movie industry.
Esther Kalejaiye Eniola is known by her fans as “Omo jo Igbo” a name she got from the movie, “Omo Ghetto” produced by Funke Akindele.
Afeez and Esther are married with two kids, a girl and a boy. They are hardly seen together.
5.Lukman Raji and Bukola Adekogbe-Raji
The last couple on the list is Yoruba actor Lukman Raji a.k.a King of Swagger and popular actress, Bukola Adekogbe better known as “Aminatu Papapa”. The couple are good in interpretation of their roles especially as “touts”.
Without being told, one can hardly know they are husband and wife with kids.
